Feelin' amazin'.

Tuesday, February 05, 2013

I don't know if it's the combination of taking my medication, the sun being somewhat out today, and the exercise, but I feel uh-may-zing today.

I finished my The Firm workout series today. I think I was a couple of days late, but I think "better late than never." I think my original goal was to finish the workout series on their timeline, which I failed to do, but I did finish it and for that I'm extremely proud.

Based on my good job, I think I've earned the Aria scale I promised myself. Now I just have to order it or go find it at a store. And, of course, be able to afford it. Just a small issue there. Tiny, really. Right? I think next week I'll have the cash in hand.

I don't know if they've announced the date of the fitbit flex being introduced, yet, but that's going to be one of my next prizes.

I think I decided if I finish this next The Firm workout series (what I just did... just doing it again) I'm going to purchase the Jillian Michaels series... as a reward! Ha! How funny is that? I understand the workouts are about 30 minutes, which is about what I can mentally stand as a regular part of my life.

I own the Supreme 90 program as well, but the workouts are varied in length which makes the idea of getting up in the morning to do them very unpleasant. I intend that at some point I will do the program... just not right now.

I ended up doing a little mini-workout this evening with a couple of five pound weights and found that very gratifying. At some point I'm going to have to man-up (or buck up, or toughen up or something) and figure out a lifting plan for myself. But also not something I feel like doing right this second. At least, not tonight! Besides, I'm not QUITE ready to go fight with the boys for the free weights at the gym.

So that's where I am right now! Awesomeness!

Finishing something you start is AWESOME and you should be proud. I need to incorporate weights too and will put that as a top priority now that you reminded me :)
Good luck to you on your journey. May you have a healthy and fabulous day!
