Sleep journal for Mon 4th - Tue 5th

What time are you lying down to go to sleep?
What was your bedtime routine?
Oil rub feet, reading my book. Had about half an hour doing so.

My dinner; lots of med veggies and some chicken. I ate at about 20:00.
Did you exercise today? (Include the type, duration, and time of day if you exercised.)
Yes; 30 minutes on the Wii fit, mostly cardio.
Did you consume any caffeinated drinks or foods today, or any alcoholic drinks? (Include type, number, and time of day.)
A bottle of diet coke at 3:30.
What types of stressors did you encounter today, and what types do you expect to encounter tomorrow?
None, really, though I had a lot of stuff to do. I have no real stressors for tomorrow, though I do have my usual hectic Tuesdays. I suppose they're actually becoming a bit of a source of stress, now that I think about it, but not much.

About 30 minutes.

Once, I guess, but I was quite restless. I didn't so much "wake up" in the night as become aware a few times that I wasn't deeply asleep, you know?

How many hours of sleep did you get?
What mood did you wake up in?
A bit groggy, but cheerful enogugh. Getting out of bed was a bit of a challange, and took me 5 minutes. The fact that it's all grey and overcast outside probably had something to do with that.
Any dreams?
Several, all hunger games related. I seem to have Katniss style of dreaming; one thing melts into another which leads to something else, etc. Thinking about make up leads to being made up by the prep team in my dreams, leads to rescuing them, leads to rescuing Peeta, leads to scenes of Simon and River Tam from Firefly (because my mind flat out refuses to see Peeta and Katniss as a couple, lol). That sort of thing.

    I bought a FitBit a while back which monitors how long you sleep and how many times a night you wake up. I was waking 19 to 50 times a night. The neighborhood dogs bark ALL day and night and it seemed like I heard them all night long every night. A week ago, I got a Amazon app called Relax Music, so for the past week having the app running on my smartphone on nightstand, I have only woke two to three times a night. I don't remember hearing the dogs at ALL! I feel so much more rested and it is just easier to get up in the morning!!

    My quality was rubbish. I woke up with a headache so went back to sleep for 2 hours and I STILL have a headache. Oh well. Off to work.
