An Itty Bitty Frownie Face

I got my Fit Bit weekly report in my e-mail today and had to chuckle. The day I take a break from exercise is Sunday. I look forward to Sundays. So if you get these reports you have no doubt seen the itty bitty frownie.

I chuckled because I never even thought of calling my rest day a frownie day. If I were the obsessive type this would probably bother me. I am also discovering that OCD and obsessive are very different. I am not really OCD and I do not take lightly the prison that true OCD can be but I have the tendencies. I am a box checker and perpetual picture straightener among other things. My clients tell me I have CDO. That is like OCD but in alphabetical order as it SHOULD be. Really makes me laugh.

Anyway, I am rambling and just wanted to ponder out loud how a day off can be construed as a frownie. What do you all do on your break days from exercise? We go to church and then brunch and then come home and spend time together watching movies or hanging out. Really low key.

So, Hey! Have a frownie day once in a while on me! Tell the Fit Bit Julie said it was okie dokie!

    Sunday is my rest day too, but to me rest means that I do a little bit of walking as opposed to the high intensity workouts that I do on other days. I haven't seen the frownie yet, but then again, I am the obsessive type and I like to see those big numbers on my fit bit tracker.

    I haven't taken a rest day since I started SP on Nov. 14. I am doing the exercise for my Fibromyalgia, and I feel like I need to do it every day. I don't have a FitBit, so no emoticon

    I go to Church on Sunday morning and most Sunday nights, and do my exercise in the afternoon. My DH and DD go out for coffee on Sunday afternoons. It has been their 'father/daughter' date for many years.

    Since we are all home most of the time, we have a lot of family time.

    I am trying very hard this week to actually step 10, 000 steps every day. I only foresee 1 problem. On Wednesday I do 2 hours of yoga. I cannot seem to fit in 10,000 seps and 2 hours of yoga into the same day. So I don't think that I'll make that goal on that day. :( Frownie!

    I'm new to SparkPeople and I haven't done the FitBit thing yet, but I can relate to this post. I also take a break Sunday--for church, family and for rest. I've asked many other Christians and I've gotten so many opinions.

    As far as the frownie face, I give you a emoticon !
