Hmmm, today...

...it's up to debate on how it's going to turn out. I'll point out the good points first. I had leftover chicken breast for breakfast and that was just too yummy. I went shopping with DH, didn't want to strangle him halfway thru the store and got some very healthy foods. I got a new vacuum. I got new measuring cups. Got to see my Mom today. Got to briefly talk to a dearly missed friend. Had quality conversation and time with DH. I felt like today was actually productive for a change.

Now, the bad. We ran out of water, it's so muddy we were hoping to haul it in the next freeze but, we're out so haul it now. The family drama bomb decided to drop while trying to procure a 4 x 4 to haul said water. All said happy feelings and emotions from earlier have been replaced with a tense hostility. I love my family but, Bill Engvall had the right idea when he came up with "Here's Your Sign" because sometimes it's really fitting. "Excuse me...oops, never mind. I didn't see your sign." Is winter over yet? I'm suffering from a serious case of the winter blues and drama causes some Winter Temporary Bi-Polar Disorder (I totally just coined that due to my being super happy from 7am to 3pm and now I'd like to crawl under a rock).

I got in a great cardio workout. It left me speechless and sore. I've got lentils cooking away getting all yummy and good for tacos. And I'm 200 under calories for the day. All in all, I'll call it a good day. Well, I'm retreating to my kitchen there are no grouchy men there so it's tranquil.

Sounds like there is a lot of love there, just taking a side seat to other stuff. Strictly temporary, I'll bet. Your lentil tacos sound good!
