Day 5 (Superbowl Sunday)
Monday, February 04, 2013
I didn't get any exercise yesterday because I was in so much pain. My arms and legs were killing me. LOL. My eating could have been better but wasn't as horrible as it would have been in the pass. I stopped at 1 when in the pass I would have eaten until I was sick. Through out the course of the day I had 1 empanada, 1 jalapeño popper, and 1 sandwich from a 6 foot hero (no mayo and I pulled it apart. Too much bread). I only took one bit of my husbands cannoli when before I would have sat there and ate the whole box of mixed Italian goodies. I had 2 glasses of Diet Coke, which I wish I didn't do because it gave me heart burn. I really don't like soda. Don't know why I drank it. Probably because it was there. I didn't watch the whole game. I decided to sit in my apartment away from the food and watch Sesame Street with my daughter. Actually she watched and I read a book off my kindle. LOL. It turned out to be a pretty good day.
Oh Yea! Forgot to mention this... Most of the day was good but my mom, who will be the death of me, said she was having chest pain. At first she said it felt like she had to burp then she got really pale and said her left arm was going numb. We all know this is normally not a good thing. We tell her we are taking her to the hospital just for her to argue and say she didn't want to ruin the Superbowl. She ended up going anyway. Thank God it turned out to be an anxiety attack. But still rather be safe then sorry. Work has been pulling her in every direction. She's not a member of management and yet she is doing there job plus her own. Plus she is planning a wedding. She is getting remarried, which is awesome, but everyone knows how stressful planning a wedding can be. She's worried about everyone else and doesn't take care of herself. Now I know where I get it from.
A few months back she passed out at work. She changed her story 3 times. Said she didn't pass out. It was a vertigo flare up. But she also said she was standing one minute and somehow she ended up in a chair waiting for an ambulance. Hello!!! I haven't been in medical school in a long time but last I checked if you don't know what happened between point A and B then you blacked out. I just don't know what to do with her. There is only so many times that I can talked to her about taking care of herself. It's just driving me nuts.
On a happier note, my mom's fiancés brother got me a runners bike. Which is pretty cool! I'll be using it in the summer. Amelia is way to small for it now and it's way too cold out side.
Well, I hope I didn't bum anyone out. Just needed to vent. I hope all is well. Hope everyone has a happy and healthy week!
