I think I've lost my sense of humor!!

Monday, February 04, 2013

Okay, I haven't but I swear I can't continue being healthy for more than 3 weeks without falling off the wagon and being a real idiot with my choices. The first sign of stress or trouble, I want to quit and forget it.

I know what triggered it this time, Week 2, I posted no loss. Week 3, I posted a 1 pound loss. I thought to myself, why am I trying this hard to lose weight if it's not really working. Shoot, I can eat a donut and lose nothing. Here I am exercising every day, measuring every bit of food, and only eating the healthiest of healthy and I don't lose anything? Bah! No fair.

Of course, I realize that it's not just the weight coming off that's making me healthier. The exercise and good food choices are improving my cholesterol, blood pressure, and whatever else is going on in there!

Hopefully, I can pull it together this week.

We have ALL been there! It's really hard to keep putting in the work without getting the results you deserve. BUT, it will pay off!
Keep checking in, keep making those choices I KNOW you can make! You will not regret eating healthy and exercising, but you probably will end up regretting poor choices. You can do this!!

I'm having that kind of a week too. We need to stick together and not give up! These slow weeks suck. Keep the big picture in mind. This is just a small part of a BIG thing!

Please do not quit. This is a long journey not a sprint.
The first two months are usually the hardest. It was for me.
After that I find it got less tough for me.
Did it gets easier? No. The truth is .... I just got better at it (making healthier food choices and working out).
Make small goals/plans according to your own pace.
Now, so many people are asking me what I did to lose weight so fast. Truth be known, it took me a long time, lots of hard work, sweat, persistence and strong determination.
You can do it too. You may slip up every now and then. I know I did. Just don't quit.
