Still laughing!

Sunday, February 03, 2013

I was having a snack attack late last night, so I got a grapefruit out. And the rat dog started begging. So I gave it a little piece. And it made the most hysterical face! I almost choked laughing! And he kept begging! So I kept giving him tiny bits and he would lick it, then shake his head, then lick it again, then chew it, then shake, then beg more. Oh, my gosh, it was the funniest thing!

And today, every time I look at the little thing, I start laughing again! Who would have thought a chihuahua would like grapefruit?!

    Awwwww, cute.

Actually I can almost picture it. Probably how my niece looked when we gave her sparkling water for the first time. She'd make a horrified face and drool some of it out, and then reach for the cup begging for more. Hahaha! I think she was about 1 year old.

One of my brother's dogs loves EVERYTHING. She'll eat any food we give her. The other dog is very picky, he only likes certain things. My SIL does this trick to him where she tosses him an almond, and he'll catch it in the air and eat it. Then she tosses a cashew; he'll catch it, and then spit it out. The next food you toss him he won't catch. In case it's a cashew. And he gives you a very reproachful look. Hee hee hee.

We used to have that same funny experience when we had our dog. Now I just have a cat, and he turns his nose up and walks away. He thinks he wants what we have, but he really doesn't...
