Balancing Priorities is Tough

I am not control of things in my life. My husband needs help so that must come first. I want to keep strong and healthy. I do not want to take risks of driving on icy roads or rush to make an appointment.

Hence I try to get to a destination in reasonable time. I know that early morning appointments cause inconvenience for my husband. I try to schedule my activities from 12 noon to 3 pm or from 5:30 pm to 7 pm.

Today I wanted to get to church. Bob was not himself after dialysis. I had to shovel snow. I did not get to church. I read my scriptures and prayed. I already read the sermon seeds from the UCC website. I then meditated on the scripture to relax. I missed the sense of community and my church family.

Tomorrow is the Baxter Delivery of 32 cases of dialysis supplies. I must have the walks clear for the driver. There is a prediction of a clipper coming through. More arm exercise with sweeping or shoveling.

    It sounds like you need help. Is there anyone you can share these tasks with? Do not try to do it all alone.
