Healthy Weight Challenge Week #2

I'm down one more pound! I've lost 5 pounds since January 5th. emoticon

According to my Fitbit, I had 2,024 fitness minutes and burned 17,642 calories in January. emoticon Those are just fun facts, simply data points to me right now. My body feels longer and leaner...benefits of planking! I like my renewed strength. I think I'll keep going!

This week was harder than last because I had to work late on most days. I'll spare you the violins, but my body and mind were wiped out by the end of the day. I did manage to make it to both Zumba classes. I missed a strength workout, but I'm going to try to make it up today. My fitness goal next week is to reach 10k steps at least 3 days out of the week.

As far as food goes, I'm surprised to see a loss on the scale. I need to try to stick to a plan to make sure I'm getting balanced nutrition instead of reaching for whatever's easiest. My goal for next week is to make sure if I swap any food from the plan that they are in the same food group.

Nutrition - Eat Fresh!
1. Plan it and Track it.
2. Stay in ranges. (1350-1700 cals)
3. Swap in the same food groups.

Fitness - Move Often! These are my Must Do workouts, but I'll also commit to walking or biking for extra cardio to reach 10k steps.

Monday - Zumba
Tuesday - Workout #25
Wednesday - Workout #26
Thursday - Zumba!
Friday - wildcard/rest day
Saturday - Workout #27
