One-Act Plays were great.....Sodium, sigh..........

Saturday, February 02, 2013

Sodium Monster is ahead again.....this time I totally forgot to ask for no seasonings, but I did keep the BBQ sauce on the side....tried it and was very glad I could skip it! Too sweet and too spicy for me....I am a wimp according to my Hubby, but I think he killed his taste buds long ago! (Ongoing discussion, no winner emoticon)
I had a great day with DD at the One-Act Competition, even though we did not agree with the judges about who won....not just because our local kids did not win, but we did not like the winning each his own taste, I guess. emoticon I should comment that all 8 entries (though we only saw 7, we were late) appeared to be very well done. Only problem from the competition was it was basically 5 hours of sitting and then the 40 minute drive to and from.......sore bottom syndrome LOL I will be glad to go to fitness center tomorrow and work out a few of the kinks!
Hubby works tomorrow day shift and DD works from 4:30 to 6 a.m. After she gets home, we are planning to attend church together for the first time probably since Christmas....she tends to work every Sunday morning....As far as Super Bowl plans for anything special....just head out for workout and a bite to eat afterwards..... emoticon emoticon emoticon NO SEASONINGS, if I can help it. LOL
As usual it is very late so off to bed. Lynel

Good Choice indeed. It's been a while since I've been out to eat. Early january I think but I'm ok with that. It's so cold outside that it's just no fun going out. Once again I always think...will spring find Minnesota? LOL I know it's too early for those thoughts but this sub zero is getting old.
Glad you had fun at the contest.
Dee.....Your newest 60lbs LOSER! oh yeah....oh yeah.. emoticon

Sounds like you owe yourself a "That a girl" for at least trying to do good. That's better than just tossing it to the wind and giving in :)

Glad you had such a good time with your DD....and hope that your time in church will be filled with blessings!

As for us, the Super Bowl isn't so super since our team didn't make it but we'll go to church and maybe watch it ....who knows LOL

Have a blessed day of rest!!

One day can be dealt with. You did put the BBQ sauce on the side which helps a lot. I know it is so hard to stay within the range and I can only do that about 50% of the times. Enjoy your day today!!

emoticon Be proud of your choice! At least you put the BBQ sauce on the side. I don't always do perfect with my sodium, but at least you are watching it. Most people don't even realize they have a problem with their sodium intake. It makes a big difference when it comes to how much weight you retain.

I hope that you have some good quality time with your Daughter and that blessing flow from your time at church together! I haven't been to an actual church in a long time because I don't like going alone. I know that is an excuse, but my husband works 12 hour shifts on Sundays, that pretty much leaves him out.

Not many plans hear for Super Bowl Sunday. We are just going to sit at home and watch the game and I am going to splurge a little bit on pizza. emoticon emoticon
