I must

Saturday, February 02, 2013

This is my second day for being on this site and for physically and mentally deciding to make a change in myself. So far, I feel really good about this. I think having the visual will help me dramatically as I can see even small changes over time instead of just wondering if I'm even making a difference in myself.
Today was shopping day. My husband is on a path to a healthier him as well so we are in this together; we were truly looking at the foods we typically buy and really seeing them for what they have in them. A bit scary if you ask me. We made so many changes in our food choices today but an unexpected consequence is that we also spent less. It also helps that a few months back I had set up a dinner menu to keep that old "well what you do you?" conversation from going around. I just hope that with my husband on board and this site, I can continue to keep this going.
