Another Successful Day! & the weekly weigh-in

Yay! Today was another successful day! I made delicious edamame and mixed veggie fried rice and ate healthy all day. I've got another good work out planned for tonight and my studies are coming along.

I achieved what I thought was unachievable.... I ONLY ATE ONE MEAL OUT ALL WEEK! My biggest weakness is take-out food. I'm so busy. It's so easy to let someone cook for me! However, I feel so much better when I feed my body FUEL instead of GARBAGE. So, I made a promise to myself and went to the grocery store and stocked my pantry full of ANYTHING I wanted (so long as it was "healthy" it went in the cart.. OK ben and Jerry's Greek FROYO was pushing it, but that was my biggest splurge item!) I spent..... LOL OK, I'm embarrassed to say how much I spent at the store.

I will say this, I haven't even THOUGHT about french fries! I've had so many delicious meals to cook, who needs gross fast food?!?! My one indulgence for the week was a Lawler's BBQ turkey loaded potato with their amazing cherry cheese cake. It was carefully selected as my crave-worthy item of the week. :) :)

I met all my fitness goals, and would've also made my budget if I hadn't had that major splurge at the grocery store (just think of the money I'll save long term by not eating out!) I could splurge on way worse things than healthy fuel for my body! I'm so proud to have successfuly completed week 2 of my commitment to be kinder to myself! Yay! I also have cut my medication down to almost nothing and had a day last week where I did not have to take a single pill. (for someone with chronic anxiety this is huge.... It's progress... I'm almost there!!!)

Monday - Exercise, 25 min. - tracked cals / met goals
Tuesday - Exercise DAY OFF - did not track cals
Wednesday - Exercise, 50 min. tracked cals/ met goals
Thursday - exercise, 20 min. - Splurge day
Friday - Exercise, 45 min. - tracked cals / met goals
Saturday - Exercise, 20 min. - tracked cals / met goals

Better than last week! I was only able to track successfully 3/7 days last week, this week I increased successful days to 4/7 Tracking is tough on a busy schedule! Thank goodness the SP mobile app makes it easier on the go!
