...they got me. Coming down with a cold--though hopefully not the one that my co-worker had that lost her voice for 3 days! :) Good times.

Training session yesterday was fun. Is that a word that can be used for training? lol. I did, however, get a little too low on my last squat, managed to push it out, but seriously felt nauseous right after. I always wondered how it felt to 'workout until you puke' like those BL people. I'm good, thanks--all I needed to know. :) Surprisingly my quads aren't too terribly sore today either. I WILL say--who needs cardio?--when working out legs? I was huffing and puffing mightily after that. I also can't do walking lunges worth a dam and wobble all over the place--but you can't ever say I don't do what I'm told! Lol.

One thing my trainer emphasized was that I wasn't eating enough for a heavy weight training session--my legs kept bonking sooner than usual. I guess a cup of coffee, turkey bacon, and a fruit cup doesn't cut it. I've always been very leery of grains and breakfast-y things...but since I'm training for strength, and not weight loss, I suppose it would make sense to listen to him, no? Even if I'm skeptical, I'll give it a run-through first to see how and if it makes an impact.

To that end, my weight finally got down under 160 again. Just from cutting out all the snacking. 8 lbs to reach my 10 lb goal. My belleh is on just on the verge of that 'too big' thing--over 160, big sticky-outy belly. Under 160, I can see and feel the difference the moment I get up. Interesting. Not AS sticky-outy. In other words, less pregnant-looking. Lol.

Work--got my work shift switched to Fri evening at the last minute. Don't think I'll be doing that again. It was my 'choice' whether to do it or not, though it was clear what they wanted, so I accommodated. No acknowledgement or thank you for the inconvenience equals not a lot of motivation to put myself out for it again. Simple 'thank yous' do still carry a lot of weight, at least in my book.

Discovered a new Hardcore heavy lifter. I don't subscribe to everything she has to say--but I LOVE LOVE LOVE her attitude. Inspirational. :)

DH is on a 2-day course this weekend, so I can putz to my heart's content. Think I'll head out to Walmart shortly. :)
