That Mountain is going to be Flatland today!

This Weekend: I’ve talked to my Mom, had my coffee and begun the morning routine. I have several things I would LIKE to do, but will not (repeat to myself 10 times) beat myself up anymore if I don’t get them done.
We’ve done a little switch up to our weekly menu system. Today, we eat leftovers. It always used to be during the week before the garbage got picked up. By doing it today, I don’t have to cook! I am a lady of leisure!
So, I’m going to try some recipes that I’d wanted to do for a while. My poor husband has had an apple crisp recipe sitting on the desk for a week now…. My man is going to have it for dinner tonight! Pre-make a few Super Bowl snacks for tomorrow so that I can truly relax.
I’m just going to devote my time to being with my husband. The poor guy has watched me run around the house each evening, I set down and I fall asleep!
I gained 1.3 pounds and the Impish Brat said I’m overweight again. I know it is because I hadn’t slept and I had not been drinking my water. Sleeping has been cured. Ambien helped me sleep 10 hours last night. I figure one more night and my “clock” will be back to normal. Water intake is obvious. I wasn’t diligent, but I’ve got my bottle with me and going to do 80 ounces a day instead of 64 this week.
Thanks to my Mom, she put my Mountain into perspective. Picture CD’s go with the Photo Box. Check CD’s without descriptions on them. Any computer restore CD’s, pitch. All game CD’s go to Goodwill. Some child out there probably has an antiquated computer and would love to have them. Keep “Sims” and “Civilization.” Set the timer for 20 minutes. Done. Flatland.
She told me that if she was living closer, she would have sent me to the kitchen and had this mountain tackled in 10 minutes. *Sigh* She’s right. But “I have a special way of doing it.”
Blessing my House for 60 minutes or less. I enlisted help, (my sleeping cats) but they have declined. State of My Union Budget, 30 minutes or less. Dress to Shoes. Hubby will be home in 2.5 hours.
Ready, Set, GO!!!
