Feb 1st...another month to reach my goals!

i haven't blogged in quite some time. I've thought about it and hoped to get it done, but life has been getting in the way!! Happy to say that other than the week i spent in PA (without wifi) i have been faithfully logging in and keeping track of my food and such.
I have been good about getting at least 15 min of fitness in daily so i decided it was time to up my exercise. I bought Brazilian Butt lift over a year ago, but it was way too hard and i just quit after a week. I am learning to like exercise more :) I started it this week (again). The first couple days i really thought, "wow! this isn't so bad." Day three I could barely sit down or stand up...all the appropriate muscles are screaming at me! It hurts like HELL!! But I have to admit to liking it and the fact that i am working towards my goals. I can't do all the exercises, some are too hard on my back and some are just plain too hard, but i do my best and obviously i am working muscles that are not in shape currently!! I'm proud of myself. Now, to keep the enthusiasm going for 4 weeks!!

My 7th grandchild was born while i was in PA. The little sweetheart was 10 days late. I had found really cheap tickets and gambled on when he would be born (basing it on how overdue my daughters other two children had been). My daughter, grandchildren, and i had a lot of fun while we waited on the little guy :) and it actually turned out perfectly as he was born two days before i had to come home. She had help lined up for after his birth, so she was glad i was there to help get ready for his arrival and to help pass the days he was overdue!

Been crazy since i have been home. Our business is usually nearly dead during January, but this year it has been off the hook busy. That is a good thing! We served more papers in one week this year than the entire month of January last year. School also started at the beginning of Jan. I am taking all my classes online this semester. I love that i can work whenever i want to in my PJ's, don't have to worry about driving to campus in winter weather, and can get all the work done in a day or two. Gives me more time to sew!!

So, my goals for Feb are to continue the good habits i have going (eating healthier, tracking faithfully, being physical daily) as well as follow the Brazilian Butt lift videos for February. I want to find a sprouted bread recipe that i actually like; make meatless meals twice a week and seafood twice a week; to plan my garden; to call a different friend each week just to catch up; to jazz up my sewing room (went to take a picture and realized how totally uninspiring the space is!) and to make my newborn grandson a quilt.
