I have been a member of Spark People one year and have learned so much just from reading! I love the recipes and have used many of the menu suggestions. Using a similar plan of action, I have quit smoking!! With my good Lord's help, 2013 will be my year to get back to a healthier lifestyle. I want to thank all of the members that have challenged me and are there to support me. By mid year, I hope to have lost 20 more lbs. Once that is met, losing an additional 15 more lbs by years end is my next goal!! I love the before and after pictures many members have posted and I would like to be able to do the same!

    Happy Valentines Day to me!! 2 weeks cigarette free!! No weight loss but no gain!! Now I have to make a plan of action to give my weight loss and fitness a bit of a boost! Thanks to all who have taken the time to cheer me on!! emoticon

    Update...day 4, still smoke free!! Yesterday was a little rough when my hubby, daughter, and son in law went out to the garage several times during the super bowl, but I made it through..thinking about starting a special jar to put $5.00 a week in it. I know I was smoking at least a pack and 1/2 a week. In a year, I would have $125...enough for a splurge like new outfit!! emoticon
