I Don't Want to Recycle!

I know recycling is supposed to be a good thing, but not when it comes to weight. I'm tired of recycling weight & I know you are too. Lose 5-10 pounds just to gain it back later. Not this time! I'm not recycling!

I've lost 10 pounds for the month of January! Yeah baby!! I will not recycle, I will NOT recycle! I gotta keep moving even when I don't want to. I want to start working out twice a day. I set my clock to get up at 5 am to work out, but I turn it off & wait for the 6 am alarm to go off & then I get ready for work. I guess I need to go to bed in my workout clothes to make me want to get out of my warm bed. Any suggestions?

On a different note, I had a friend text me about how well she was doing with her weight lost. When I lived in CA, she was 20-30 pounds heavier than me. Now she's 50 pounds lighter than me! WTW How did I let myself go? I'm totally happy for her, but that was an eye opener. Then she tells me I'm her motivation (how sweet). She remembers how I use to drag her to the gym & force her to workout. LOL I was a little of a drill sgt when it came to working out. Now she's going to the gym & using work out DVDs to help with her journey & she hears my voice pushing her. Well, I need to push myself & get back to that drill sgt mode!

No looking back! I have the tools & a plan to become a success story! Time to push a little harder!

    Nikki, that's what I do with my bestie. She's in CA too. She actually signed up on SP, but doesn't use it. But we text each other when we arrive to the gym & when we finish our workout. She even text during her workouts but I can't do that yet. I'm scared I might fall off the treadmill! LOL Even though we are miles apart, we still workout, shop, lose/gain weight & watch tv together. If I don't hear from her, then I know she's doing something she's not supposed to! LOL emoticon

    Isn't amazing how we inspire others without even knowing it, without even trying, even when we are struggling ourselves. Most people would get down on themselves but you have to use that as momentum to catch up with her. Imagine you are getting up with her. In fact, maybe you two can be virtual workout buddies. You two should have to text each other when you wake up to notify the other that you are on your way to workout. Then you have to text the other when you are done, what you actually did. Try it!

    It's amazing that your friend has used you as an inspiration! I tried the whole sleeping in workout clothing thing and I still waiting an extra 30 min-hr to get out of bed. Good luck with everything!!! emoticon
