I just realized how my crazy pay schedule combined with impulsivity can really derail my progress. As a teacher, I was paid on December 20 and then received my next paycheck on January 31. I thought it would be easier to eat healthy foods once I had more money for fresh fruits and vegetables. Instead, after weeks of scrimping, I got paid and headed to KFC. What was I thinking? Today I will start again and focus on healthy eating. Breakfast: Kellogg's Smart Start cereal and 1% milk. Lunch: tuna on whole wheat bread. Dinner: NOT fried food!
