Good morning,

How do you feel? Admit it, it was easier than you thought , right?

I am still drinking green tea this morning!:-)

So here are my stats:
Jan 1, 2013 = 160.4 pounds
Jan 31st, 2013 = 155.8 pounds ( and that is right in the middle of "that time of month") So I am sure it will be less by next week.
That is a loss of 4.6 pounds in a month.
In total I lost 1/2 inch around my neck
2 1/4 around the chest
3/4 inches lost around ribs
1/2 inch lost on hips
1 inch lost around buttox
1/2 inch gained around upper thigh ( probably due to not enough activity!)
1 1/2 inches down on upper arm
1 1/2 inches lost around abdomen!!!!!

What I noticed was that that initial 2 weeks saw the greatest change in weight and inches lost, and then in the next 2 weeks there was still loss, but a lot slower ( there were a few meals in there that I could not avoid)
The good thing is that I know , I KNOW , I can lose more or maintain based on lifestyle CHANGES, habits broken and although the rest of the weight I want to lose may come off slower, at least I know it will be done in a healthy sort of way. NO FADS , no gimmicks! BUT LIFESTYLE CHANGE! I can't emphasize that any more! It is clinically proven to help you live longer and a healthier life! - better proven success in some cases than medication. No don't go throw out your pills, but make lifestyle changes and keep communicating with your doctor and adjust accordingly!

Lost a few more inches here and there, put on a 1/4 inch here and there ( but I think that is hormonal) I will measure again in a month!

I WILL BE DOING ANOTHER 30 DAY CHALLENGE! watch this space for details!

I can't wait to hear all your "last words" and please send me your "testimonial" so that I can add it to my blog. This is so that those thinking of joining will hear feedback from past participants and will be encouraged to throw the fear out the window and just join and make positive changes!

I think that you all deserve a huge congrats for reaching day 30 and to those who stared but had to stop for health reasons, WE MISS YOU!!! and to those who just couldn't pull through, don't worry, there will always be a next time, just don't give up! YOU CAN DO IT!

So please report here and your finals statements and testimonials so I can post it to the blog and share the link with you!
Please send any photos you would like to include too to my email:

Hey there! We did it! Happy dance! I did really well on the white carbs overall and didn't give in other than when the situation sort of dictated it (like when I went to my MIL's or at the emergency ward).
Soda-way down consistently. Working hard to keep it that way so I don't necessarily have to give it up totally. However, if I have to give it up I will.
Coffee - other than my one slip up early on, I stayed off of it and kept my caffeine tea to 2 cups or less all the time except a couple, and it was never more than 3.

Feeling great! Weight stayed the same but my tummy is definitely flatter, a lot flatter. And bad time to be weighing in for me so maybe my weight is down a couple of pounds. Measurements made me happy.

    Weight - no change
    Arm - up 1/4 inch
    Waist - down 1.5 inch
    Leg - down 3/8 inch

I'll get that stew recipe for you - if I forget keep reminding me! Thanks for the pdf. Swamped today but I'll get to it asap.

I didn't measure anything - but my day-to-day Jeans keep falling down. I'll have a go with my skinny jeans tomorrow :)

Thank you so much for the accountability - long may it last

    Way to go!!
My stats are on my blog. I lost 8.7 pounds and 5-1/4 inches overall.
It has been a great challenge, thanks again for leading it. Being accountable put my mind in focus and it takes that to make it work.
"If your mind isn't in it, it isn't going to happen" I think that applies to everything we do in life.
