Up and moving

I am up and moving again. No more sitting and sulking for me. The only way to lose this weight is to do something. So I am doing something. I am trying this new challenge with walking. I am hoping it gets me going. Even if I don't lose a lot of weight with it I know it will make me healthier. Yesterday i went to the Dr. and she said even tough my cholesterol was a little high she wanted to wait a little longer to see if i could bring it down on my own. So there is a challenge. The next time I go there will not even be that discussion. God has blessed me with so much and I need to do my part and get my body healthy.

    One foot in front of the other and you'll get where you want to go. Okay, so that may sound cliche, but it's not meant to. Sometimes we have to realize that to get going we have TO START. emoticon Just keep your faith and don't beat yourself up for being human emoticon

    You are RIGHT! I hadn't thought of it until you said it in your blog but life and our bodies are a wonderful gift and if we don't exercise and eat right and take care of them, we are basically spitting in the giver's face. Its like giving your child a stack of PS3 games, then later finding them scattered about the floor with no covers, mixed up and scratched, treated with disregard. Only its even worse, because our bodies and life are such a BIGGER gift...
