All Pain

Wednesday, January 30, 2013

I recently made a point to find the trainer at the gym that signed me up. I really just wanted to brag.

"Since you signed me up on December 6th I've lost 30 pounds (smile)"
"That's great! Are you feeling better ?"

I Had to think about it for a moment, I wanted to answer honestly. And I do NOT feel better in anyway. My feet ache, my left knee is out, my hands throb. I walk with a limp and go DOWN the stairs 'old man style' One step at a time.

Then I thought about my energy level. I have NOTHING extra. NOTHING. I pass out by 10 each night and wake up exhausted.

Clothes? No, there is no appreciable difference in how my clothes fit, none.

30 pounds and the only difference is I am in more pain than I was before, I am more tired.

Progress sucks.

All that aside I feel GREAT emotionally because I know I am winning, and as that scale ticks by I grow closer and closer to my final weight, cant wait! I'm on ahead of schedule to achieve my Christmas 2013 goal of 265-275!

We have to go through, to get to and you're seeing the results as the people around you are a swell. If it were easy, it swouldn't be worth it! I love your attitude as it is, what it is and emotionally, we'll take whatever we can get! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Sounds like evil forces throwing roadblocks in your way to tell you to give up but you will overcome and toss the positive attitude of good against the evil one. In that case, positive thinking and determination will win the fight. emoticon -- Lou
