The wrong way to lose

So, just coming off the death flu diet plan.

Had a fever of 102+ for five days... Survived on tea and weak chicken soup (no noodles/rice - just couldn't handle them). Lost 4 pounds in a week. Do not recommend it.

I'm still trying to shake the cough, so I haven't been back in the gym. Super annoying, since I was just starting to get back into a good routine.

On the upside, junk food (in my case: anything with sugar) has close to zero appeal right now, so at least I can go back to managing a reasonable daily calorie intake.

    I'm so sorry! My little one had a similar bug, and it was such a tough time. I am glad you are on the mend, and I hope you are illness proofed for 2013!

    It is just as well that sugar doesn't appeal to you right now - it plummets emoticon the immune system and you really don't need that right now.

    Just look at it as a forced jump start to weight loss. I hope you feel better soon, especially having a tot to keep after. Don't take on too much too soon! Praying that you'll soon be back up and on the road to healthy living again.
