Powering through my Energy Shortage

This morning I got up and just DID NOT feel like working out. I think it's because this weekend I worked out with more intensity than I have in months. I just couldn't bare the thought of a 30minute cardio session via dvd. emoticon
Now I know it's important to just get it done, so I made a deal with myself...just do ten minutes for now, 10minutes at lunch time and then ten minutes later. So I put on my workout clothes, grabbed my mp3 player and headed for the elliptical. After flipping through a few playlists I turned on my music. Today's choice ~~Bollywood. After the first 10minutes, I felt like, what the heck go another 5. The 5 became another 10, then another 10. Before I knew it I had put in 45 minutes and burned over 600 calories! emoticon
But I didn't stop there! After my shower it was time for some house work. Headphones in, I proceeded... dancing around and getting my house work done! My 3 little dogs thought I was CRAZY!
I ended up with a ton of energy, went on to do 60 minutes of Pilates and I was in a good mood all day!! So the thing I'm trying to say is, make your workout FUN! I was ready to bail on mine, but with the right music emoticon I got more done than I had settled on! emoticon
