:Fitness and Food Settings

Tuesday, January 29, 2013

I'm early today - had a few minutes at work. I realized that when I'm working out, I'm usually walking for an hour (or more) in order to get my 10,000 steps for the day. I felt that in order to have my settings more accurate, I should recalibrate my fitness plan. I did so and now my food ranges are higher - more calories for me! I understand the reasoning behind it, but I think I might continue on my current food plan - the higher end of where I was is the lower end of where I should be now. It's amazing to me the tradeoffs between the exercise and the food.

But now off to work - I'm going to look at a condo this afternoon and since I have to leave early to do it, I need to get some work done!

I just did the same thing last week when I got a "notice" from Spark that I should think about updating my fitness goals to my actual fitness. You are far better than I am in terms of food, I was relieved to see the few days I was going over, I was actually more likely in my preferred range. I agree with you that it is amazing - even if not 1:1 - that we don't have to reduce our calories-in as much.

It sounds like you are doing some condo searching! I hope that goes well.
