Olive Garden

Tuesday, January 29, 2013

The entire team had gift cards to olive garden. I made sure to go to the Olive Garden website before heading out. Planned the meal fairly well and ate on the lower side of calories the rest of the day. Felt good to plan and implement. I did have a piece of cake for a team members birthday at the end, just a small one. In times past, this would have made me feel very guilty. Last night I did not feel that at all. I hope it is because I feel more in control now, have learned that NO food is off limits but just in moderation.

emoticon Nancy! Olive Garden really does have some decent choices IF you take the time to figure it out. When I was a Weight Watchers leader, I use to pass around their menus and have folks plan a meal from there. It was such fun to see what they'd come up with. Some threw their whole plan to the wind. Others did exactly what you did ... took care of yourself nicely! I'm sooooo very proud of you!!!!
