Life after goal???

Monday, January 28, 2013

How will my life change when I reach my weight goal? That's a tough question to answer.

Actually, what amazes me is how my life is changing RIGHT NOW. I'm a little less than 30lbs from my initial goal weight. I have lost approx 75lbs. So, yeah a LOT has changed.

I have soooo much energy! When I'm at Zumba, I am ROCKIN' IT! Others notice. :-)

When I catch my reflection in the window in our kitchen, it STILL makes me do a double-take. Sometimes, when I'm folding laundry and I pull a pair of jeans out of the dryer, my very 1st thought is, "Who fits in these???" WAIT! Those are MINE!

I'm doing new exercises and CONSISTENTLY! Wow! I am lifting weights on a regular basis and am building those muscles!

So, to answer the question, I guess I don't really know. But what I'm hoping for is more of the same!! As I get closer to my goal weight, my thoughts go to maintenance and what that means for me. I will continue to lift the weights and sculpt those muscles.

I will be proud. I AM proud.

I think it is great you didn't continue to go downhill. If you caught it before gaining it all back you are doing well! I'm sure this time you will be able to keep it off. Just keep catching those glimpses!
