Red Hots n Water!

I don't eat too much candy since I quit eating Reese's several months ago, but the other day I had a huge urge to get some Red Hots...those hot little cinnamon candies, I haven't had them in YEARS, probably like 25 years, so I have no idea where this craving came from!

I know they are all sugar, and there isn't even any real cinnamon in them, but they are as awesome as I remember. Before all the Boo-ing starts, they are 60 calories for 20 pieces...I swig a bunch of water after each one so my face doesn't start on fire. Not that one at a time is really hot, but if you try to eat them one after another, the heat does build up.
I have had maybe 15 of them in the last two hours and have went through over 6 cups of water, lol!

60 calories that satisfies my sweet tooth, keeps my mouth busy, satisfies my hand-to-mouth need, and getting extra water down lickety-split like it was nothing? Man oh man, I should have tried these sooner!!!!!

I may have to try some lemonheads next!

    Try sourballs! One will have your eyes watering and it'll take forever to finish! Not sure of the calorie count, though.

    Hey not all candy is created equal. Red hots are a great idea! I like the "old school" bag of wintergreen candy. The little pink ones? They are 10 cals each and one or two usually satisfy. I know you have me beat!!! A candy that makes you drink your water - genius! emoticon

    That's smart! I did that for a while to keep me away from the chocolates that are always ALWAYS on a coworker's desk, although mine was ginger candy rather than red hots. It takes me longer to eat them than chocolate, and I don't binge on them like I would with other candy. Whatever works!
