1/28/13 What I Choose To Celebrate Today (Getting Back On Track)

Monday, January 28, 2013

Wow, I slipped up and didn't post here for a couple of days. I also didn't go to the gym for a couple of days and I wasn't completely on tracking my food.

I have been EXTREMELY busy the last few days. I know it isn't an excuse, but it is the truth. Friday was the drama competition, and I won Best Director! I still think I'm taking this off my plate for next year.

Saturday we went to an SCA event, my first in months. It was so much fun and I got to reconnect with friends I hadn't seen in a long time, even years. It made me feel regenerated. I love the SCA because I learn so much when I go to events, and I get to be creative, and socialize.

I found out there is going to be a day of classes for the scribal arts, so I'll be attending that. I cannot wait to learn illumination and calligraphy!

I'm getting back on track here, in the swing, on the move.

I have been journally my food today. I just went to the school's snack bar to get a drink, and as tempted as I was to get an oatmeal pie, I didn't. Just my drink.

I also have time slated in for the gym today. The biggest lynch pin in time for me has been getting my daughter out to drive. She has to get 40 hours of driving time with us by Feb 11th, and she is only at 13 hours. It's trying to find time to have her drive that has been a challenge, and has cut into my time for other things as well.

I am so behind in grocery shopping and meal planning too. My husband has done a lot, but he doesn't Spark so he doesn't get why I won't eat certain things.

So I'm focusing on getting back on the good track I was on. That means I need to blog every day too! That keeps me honest.
