Nothing exciting here,, thank goodness.. Debbieanne, I was BORN here,, nothing attracted me to move here..
I would never live in another state in the summertime, but would make tracks to get out of here from October- May.

    Sharon, my life's dream is Italy and Hawaii.. but I would not sneeze at California for the winter. I have been there three times and I love it.. most likely northern,, I have been from San Francisco south to San Diego..
    In Michigan, the snow continues until the end of April or the middle of May.. then the rains,, so June-September are the only really warm months .. Around here, ,unlike California, you cannot plan a weekend ahead until you hear the weather report. It could be a tornado, rain, hail any given day or all in one day.

    Nothing on this planet could induce me to move to another country, except maybe Canada . Americans have no clue, if they have not traveled outside our country, what they give up to leave here.. I have visited many other countries and I used to kiss the ground when I return. Hopefully, when we get an American President again, I will be less inclined to leave again.

    LINDA, I hear you. When you find a good place it resonates with you. I guess it depends how happy you are in the moment. I love Spring and Summer and Fall is beautiful. I love Thanksgiving- we never had that in England and I love what you can do with that Holiday

    After that is my Birthday, Dark nights, Christmas madness, January thaws and storms. Frigid February and then the birds return and the days are longer so it is tolerable again.
    Put in perspective that makes only 4 months when I wish I was elsewhere.

    Our exciting moment was when DH took off to the bathroom without his walker. That surprised us both so now he is using a cane. WooHoo way to go !
