BLC 21- Letter to my 16yr old self

Dear 16 yr old Simone,

I really would like to tell you all about life, but I don't want to spoil the surprise. Honestly, some things will be good and some things will be bad. You will get your heart broken and you will break a few hearts. Some days you will cry, others you will smile... some days you will do both.

Sometimes I look back and think, 'I would do that differently' or I wish I hadn't done that, but my choices in the past have brought me where I am today... and I'm happy to be right here. Everyday won't be a blast, but make the most of what you have and just enjoy life. It is yours to enjoy.

I think the most important thing that I know now that I didn't know back then is that I am beautiful... Yes, Simone, YOU ARE beautiful so don't tell yourself or let others tell you otherwise... so you can go ahead and smile in those photographs. Most importantly, always love yourself.
