A new start

Saturday, January 26, 2013

Today DS's GF started working as a janitor at church. I met them at the
church and showed them where the supplies were and off she went. I
changed the paraments and hung around to see if she had any questions.
She did a great job. Tomorrow she will work at the cafe and see if she
can handle it. I think she will do fine, even with the language barrier.
She is profoundly deaf but willing to do anything.
I logged 14K steps yesterday and 11K today. The laundry is done and
we had a nice meal at the baseball fundraiser.
Our first goat kidded today and we have Andy and Alisha. The neighbor
had to come and help us deliver them. The little nanny is weak but
I hope she survives. This is the first nanny for this goat and we would
like to have one to keep around. She is such a good mother. I will try
to take pics tomorrow.
All in all, a great day! Have a great Sunday and thanks for stopping by. HUGS!

I'm happy that things are going well with your son's GF! I would also love to see pix of the goats. I never realized how friendly goats are until my SO and I spent some time with some at a county fair in our area last summer!

Looking forward to seeing pics of the "twins".

Do your goats eat about anything? A friend had one and her kids treated it like a dog and it followed them around but it also chewed up just about anything! Her DH made them get rid of it when it got in his fishing boat and chewed up the seats. He was not a happy man at that point.

    Have a great Sunday.
