Saturday afternoon panic

Saturdays are usually my rest days. I went for a long spell working out on Saturdays as well, and just found I got burned out. So I make myself take the day off from vigorous workouts, and usually take a walk with DH if anything. It can be really tough, however, when I sit down and finish up tracking my calories from yesterday, and then record what I've had already today. Fridays are my high-calorie day, most weeks, and beer leads to popcorn and, remind me why I just had to have those 2 snickerdoodles as I was going to bed...wha? And with today's lower activity burn, the calorie deficit for the week is looking pretty slim. So it's everything I've got to stop myself from lacing up and going for an emergency run. Just to burn some calories. Instead of being more careful in my food choices for both Friday and Saturday, which would make the panic unnecessary. Wonder how many times I'm going to bang my head up against *that* stoopid wall...AGAIN! Grrrrr...
I'll do better tomorrow, but I'll start tonight by just saying NO to cookies!
