4 Days Left, Day 16!

So yesterday was Day 16. It was a Rest Day. I did my normal routine but last night we were going to the Luke Bryan concert so I ate prior to the concert and decided I would drink a glass of wine at the concert. 1 glass led to 3, then we ran into friends at the concert and made plans to go out for drinks/food after the concert. Everyone ordered all of my old favorite foods and I ate my chocolate bar and drank MORE wine! So by the end of the night I think my total intake of wine was close to a bottle. I didn't eat anything though and stuck to The Plan. I was scared to death to put foot on the scale this morning. I head hurt and I felt horrible. To my surprise though I stepped on and I was down 1pound 4 ounces. That's the most I've lost in a day since the cleanse. Normally I lose anywhere from 2 ounces to 1 pound and the 1 pound is very rare. I was so excited! Apparently my body really likes wine. Not my head so much and I have suffered all day. I had to go to work for a while and that wasn't an easy task today. Today was my first day having animal protein twice in one day so I will be interested to see how my weight is tomorrow. I had Indian Spice Rub Chicken with my veggies at lunch and dinner I made Lamb Burgers. They were delicious and I have The Plan to thank for opening my eyes to a whole new way of living! emoticon I would be anxious to hear anyone else's experience with The Plan...please post a comment if you are having any success on The Plan!

    Total lost is 14 pounds! Doing good!!! The bacon probably did mess up your test day. Funny how one little thing can affect us SO much! I do love this though. I'm on day 17 now and will have to sit down to plan the days ahead so I can keep going in the right direction after it's over. It helps with groceries and all too to know what you are going to eat in the days ahead. :)

    I'm still doing it and am on day 11, so far lost 7.6 lbs. I reacted to the rye, beef and bread, but will redo beef and bread soon because my beef had bacon wrapped around it and that is a no, no and I found out I was reacting to the spicy apricot sauce which I was putting on all my chicken once I tried it. And I had that the same day as bread.
    I'm loving this plan and I enjoy reading your blog. You had me scared missing days. How much is your total lost? Know of any more blogs of The Plan? emoticon

    Thank you 1935MARY! It's definitely been a great experience and a successful way to lose weight and now I know how to keep it off for the remainder of my lifetime. It was definitely worth the time and investment I put into it so far! emoticon
