I've posted on a few of the teams I'm a member about the stress I still feel from a tournament a week ago today. I felt this 'anxious' for the 10 hours I was at my tournament. Only it was worse. I thought I would be over this feeling in a day or two, but its still with me. I've watched my diet, this week, it was more fruit and vegetables than meat protein. I've been thirsty, like I've never been thirsty before. I'm averaging just over 100 oz a day. I know I allowed myself to get close to dehydration at the tournament.
I was constantly moving, pretty fast pace, for all of the tournament. I really can't recall sittng down until the last hour. One of my student helpers gave me a slice of a sub sandwich sometime during the day, that's the only time I recall eating.
Is this feeling of 'anxiousness' - its like waiting for something you know won't be good, to happen - normal for what I did, at my age? And, this is the first time I've ever done anything at all like this.
I'm averaging about 5-7 hours of sleep a night, though its asleep for a couple of hours, then awake, then asleep, so on.
I've cut back on my coffee drinking by half. I'm walking a little more.
It's just really annoying.
If it's normal, then, fine, I can ride it out.
I just want to go through the day feeling completely at ease.
And I've been reading pretty much all SP has to offer on stress, I just can't find any info to help me.
