Lost a pound and NSVs.

I lost one pound this week. =) I know I said I want to lose two a week but I am taking other things into consideration. I started strength training last week and I am certain that I am building muscle. Instead of the scale I am focusing on NSVs. My pair of slim leg jeans that I had set aside are actually fitting me and I can button and zipper them. And today I tried on a Doctor Who T-shirt I got for Christmas that was too small and it went on without me feeling like I was gunna rip and burst out of it. lol. It is still snug though so I am going wait another month and then try it on. Maybe it will be comfortable to wear come March when the new season of Doctor Who comes on. I know, I'm a dork. Haha. =)

I don't get why some designers cut shirts so small. I first asked for a different Doctor Who shirt and when it came in the mail it was so so so so small. It was an adult extra large and I swear I would be only able to fit into it if I was 110 pounds with a flat chest. I am seriously not exaggerating. I even had my mother who is 70 pounds lighter than me try it on and it wouldn't fit her! The replacement shirt I got is an adult extra large too but is no way near as small as the first. It's crazy.

Hmm, what other NSVs... Oh! I hate sit ups but have been forcing myself to do them as part of my strength training routine. I had trouble doing 8 when I first started last week and now I am getting up to 30 before tiring. Woooo! I want to keep increasing them until I reach 100. It's funny because as soon as I get down on the floor my dogs and cats swarm me. They are like my little cheerleaders. Haha.
