Water Water and more Water

Funny how water can impact the ability to snack. Twice yesterday, I opened the cabinets to snack. I stopped and grabbed my water instead and drank it. One time, I just grabbed something, but 2 of 3 times, I drank water instead. Small steps!!!

    That's great! I used water and walking when I was trying to quit smoking! I left the living room where I smoked all day and went outside to walk and would not come back in until my 28 ounce glass of water was finished!

    It worked, and now I don't know how I would feel without my water every day!

    It seems that anything we put in our mouth, triggers snacking for me. Just to get the appetite going! You won out though, drinking water to keep the snacking at bay! emoticon

    Often times thirst is confused with hunger, so it does make sense to drink some water before snacking. If it's real hunger you'll still feel it after drinking a cup of water.
