Doing it for my daughter

Feel much better today and did another 30 minutes on the treadmill with a good amount of jogging (for me). Feel good about getting fitter. I had a good think the other day and decided that if I wouldn't get fit for myself then I really should for my daughter, Emma. Age is creeping up on me as I am 43 and I want to be a vibrant, fit, healthy mum for her. Emma is 16 months now and I want to have lots of energy when she gets older not less...so it has really helped me get on the treadmill every day. I want to start integrating some video's into the mix soon and start to gradually increase my efforts. I am not getting hung up on a weight or measurements or too bothered about food although I am trying to do some nice veg juices. My main aim at the moment is to get motivated mentally for fitness. Wish me luck.....

    I do really wish you luck! And I think you're doing it just right, a little bit at a time. Worry about your fitness first, I know a lot of thin people who can't run for a bus! If you can't do it for you at the moment, though I think that will change when your daughter is a little older, do it because you're her role model. You want a fit healthy vibrant daughter, so you have to show her the way, that this is normal, by being that woman yourself.
