So, this morning I'm down another .6 pounds!! And this makes me happy because I'm eating enough that I don't feel like I'm starving, and I'm feeling good effects from picking up my strength workouts after months of being off and focusing on marathon training.

This morning I looked up some info on weight gain during marathon training... And what do you know???? Most people do gain weight during this undertaking... AND, I did what I was supposed to do and let it happen without depriving myself of the extras when it needed it most. I found out that it happens for these reasons:

1. Too many extra calories (including sugary sports drinks)
2. Metabolism shows as the body land to conserve for long runs
3. Muscle gain in the legs

Happy to see that it's already falling off with a little hard work and sweat equity!

Today's goals:
1. be more productive at work than I was yesterday. sadly this will not take much effort.
2. Continue the healthy eating trend. Take my lunch again!
3. Ripped in 30 tonight.
4. lots of water!!
