Day 4: Brakes or Break?!

Wednesday, January 23, 2013

Here I am at my Day 4. I was on such a roll with my conquering the Killer Hill, but not today!

DD came to pick up the granddaughters late and by then it was pouring rain outside. There was no way that Buddy and I could walk in that.

There was no sitting on the couch for me today! My day has been very busy taking taking care of everyone. I was feeling like Mother Theresa! The 2 1/2 yr old who is creative, the 6 mos old who is teething and every diaper is *****, DH who has the flu (but swears it isn't!) and yet still needing me to wait on him, and even including Buddy who just happened to have his Westie 'sick day' today so I was busy cleaning up after him!! It's starting to look like a conspiracy to keep me from working out, but I'm not going to let it defeat me!!

When I looked at my pedometer (which I wear everyday) I walked over 2 miles just in my little house while taking care of everyone!! WooHoo!!

Tomorrow there are plans for another even longer day because the kids are spending the night, but hopefully DH will be better and can help me with the girls so Buddy and I can take a short walk outside and I can get my aerobic minutes recorded.

It's not the brakes... it's just a break!

There is always tomorrow!!

i'm sorry for the bad day. there will be these stressful days where inside walking will be your killer hill walk and you are doing what it takes to get the steps in. i have the feeling you will take the next day by storm. even poor buddy has to stay in sometimes. i hope he and everyone is better tomorrow and you and buddy get your walk !!
