Bad Luck

Wednesday, January 23, 2013

Okay, so you all know what happened yesterday. I sold the car for parts. And I looked at this other car this guy has for sale. He told me I could take it for a couple days and drive it and see if I like it and if I want it or not. Well, here's the kicker. I've lost the bloody key. I don't know why I didn't hook the key up to my other keys like a normal person. Let me tell ya, I feel so stupid and I hate myself right now. When will this awful week end? If I can't find that key, which it doesn't look like I will, I'm going to have to call a locksmith and have him open the car and get me a replacement key. Just my luck. Oh my word. What am I going to do? What am I going to do? emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Saint Anthony is the patron saint of lost items/causes. My mother swears that by asking him for help that she finds things. You may be thinking too hard. Take a deep breath and start looking in places that you wouldn't think that you'd put it.

CALM DOWN!!! Retrace Your Steps and You should be able to find the key. Take a Few deep breaths and be very quiet for awhile. This soon will past. Mediate. That will help too. God Bless You and Have a Super Great Day. Take Care.

Hang in there! Everything will work out in the end - if it hasn't worked out, it isn't the end!

Agree with the crowd here. And if you cannot find it, you cannot find it. Whew, that's over. Now the fix and move on. Life is error prone, especially if you are living it! LOL

Aw, hun! I'm sorry you're having such a rough week! I agree with everyone else; just try to calm down, retrace your steps, and I'm sure you'll find the key. And just remember, even if you don't, it isn't the end of the world. I have to tell myself this all the time because I get major anxiety attacks over things that are fairly minor in the grand scheme of things.

Desertmoth it's Saint Anthony! When i was a kid I'd say "Dear St. Anthony please come around, something is lost and can't be found" I really hope you find the keys!!! :)

When I was a kid my mom would have me pray to the Saint of lost things. Think it was saint Michael but I am a lapsed Catholic so not sure. Anyway it alway seemed to work. I think it is because it calms you down and gives the power to the saint to help which lessens the panic and bingo... You remember shortly thereafter

Just take a few deep breaths and try to calm yourself. I know how easy it is to panic when you feel everything is going horribly, but it's going to be fine.

Now as you are calm, close your eyes and re-trace your steps. What did you do? What did you see? What did you touch? You may be able to find the key that way. It's the method I always use whenever I've lost something.

    Good luck! emoticon
