Exodus 20:7
"You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain."

Hello guys and gals.
I hope y'all are enjoying my blogs. I have been enjoying writing my thoughts down, and going on this journey. Speaking of journey, this journey of my new life style is amazing. I do however have my concerns about the calorie counting. I make a recipe and I am not very sure how close to the actual calories my recipe has in it. I hope that they are correct considering I am keeping myself in my target range. Sometimes under the total calories and sometimes over in my fats. I also am not sure about the exercise calculator. I will explain that in a minute.

Well yesterday was another great day. Something that I haven't told you is that I broke a tooth the other day. It doesn't hurt but it is broken near the gums. I know I need a root canal and a crown on one, maybe two teeth. I don't know how I am going to raise the money for it but I will trust in the Lord. I contacted about 10 different dentist in my area and found one that will charge only 595.00 for a root canal, and 565.00 for a crown. That is awesome but I still don't have that much money. I know that I need to take better care of my teeth, but growing up I was not taught to brush them twice a day. So it is a hard habit to get into for me. I will however have to change that if I can get these chompers fixed. Please be praying for me on this situation, I have a little bit of credit but not enough to cover it all.

I went to the gym and ran for 5 minutes and then went and played racquetball. I played racquetball non stop, except for the changing of courts for two hours. This is what makes me unsure of the exercise tracker. For 120 minutes of racquetball it says I used up 1800 calories. That is a whole bunch. I just don't feel like I played that hard, lol. I thought that I needed to get me a fitbit or something similar to track calories. But then again I don't know how accurate those are. Maybe you guys can tell me if there are any. Wow I had a lot to tell today, lol.

Commandment #3 "You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain."
I think this world and people, even Christians, have forgotten about this commandment. Real quick lets look at the definition of vain. Vain has many different definitions but I believe that this one is what the Lord means by vain, without real significance, value, or importance; baseless or worthless. Lets say you see a crash right in front of you, and you blurt out "Oh my God!". This is using the Lords name in vain cause you are not crying out to God, you are just saying God, worthlessly. His name is not without value, or worthless. We need to be careful with what comes out of our mouths. The Lord deserves more respect than we give ourselves or anyone or thing we love with all our heart. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. So if God's name is worthless to us it will show.

Dear Heavenly Father thank You for being You. Thank You for giving me this word to reflect upon. Lord I ask that You would let my heart be in a place that is right with You and respects You. Lord let my mouth speak Your praises and of Your glory, not worthlessly about You. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

I understand about the teeth! I had one split completely in two last week. I had already paid for 3 root canals on it, and a crown. The crown was holding it in place, so I didn't even know it was broken, I just knew it hurt. They had to pull it as there was nothing else they could do to fix it. I was unhappy about losing it, but even more so because of all that I had spent trying to save it.
