Deep Breaths!!!

Sometimes I have to remind myself to breathe! I have read so many different things this week pertaining to weight loss my brain is on overload and I am tired of reading. This reading thing is a big accomplishment for me since I HATE reading so I am impressed with myself there. I have so many do this not that, try this, change that ideas in my head I wish thinking would burn calories, if I could be running as much as my mind is I would lose 5lbs this week no problem! I have tried to get up a few minutes earlier every morning which again is something I HATE to do to get in a little bit of exercise. I do the leg exercises I have to do for my knee and then I will add either crunches or arms depending on how much time I have. I haven't been very good on the points this week and I realized tonight I have been craving salty things again, that means if I don't gain this week it will be a gain next week. ARGH! All I can do is take a deep breath and continue on :)

    I don't think a lack of water is my problem I usually get about 10 glasses a day! The salt is more of a "female" thing I think...ugh :( We will see tomorrow what the scale says. I am in a rut that was while I was reading up on things but it didn't work just got me thinking even more and then I tend to over think when I get to that point. I will let you all know how it goes at my meeting tomorrow.

    when you crave salty things, sometimes that means you need more water, our body tends to crave salt if we are dehydrated. Just an idea though.

    Taking a deep breath is a good thing, also remember baby steps, change little things at a time, you don't want to change too much too fast, you will get burnt out and people tend to rebound.

    Yep, take a deep breath and keep at it. When you start seeing results it will make it easier. When you crave something, find a good substitute and you won't feel deprived. For salty, I like to cut jicama into fries and dip them in lemon juice and toss them in a mixture of salt, oregano and chili powder. You get the salty and crispy/crunchy feel. Good luck. It will get easier.
