good day

Tuesday, January 22, 2013

Got out for my 3.14 jog this morning in the cold cold cold. This deep south chick thinks any thing less than 50 is just too chilly.

Wait until tomorrow when it is in the teens!

So I have counted and behaved all day. I have a physical Friday. Will see how it goes. Blood work was on Monday but good grief, the 3 days before Monday were full of feasting. On Sunday the daughters made dh a 6 course meal straight out of Julia Child. Saturday meant a luncheon out with friends and then a big birthday dinner at a friends. With all those goodies I wonder what my blood sugar, cholesterol, and triglycerides will be.....

So, here I am. Still on the path. Wishing I wouldn't wander but knowing I will. Just need to cut down on the number and extent of my wanderings. Truth is, I always feel so much better when I'm eating well and exercising well.

Note to self.............um, just do it.

God's time if perfect. One day at a time works for me.
Take good care of yourself and love yourself enough to keep with your good intentions.

Great job at going jogging even though it was chilly! Try going jogging in -35 C degrees (not that I would)! Just take it one day at a time, one meal at a time. emoticon
