hi - so it has been one week since i 'filed my food' in the fridge. i have to say it is refreshing (no pun intended) to just open the door, grab the labelled day and list - and enjoy.
i also use up everything instead of having little bits left over - some of which may get eaten or tossed.
i mentioned the 'use the same breakfast' as dr. oz commented to relieve the stress of having to think about it every morning.
it saves a ton of time - you can vary the toppings on your toast or grab a different fruit if you need to change it up somewhat.
my deli guy shrink wraps 4oz of my chosen sandwich meats - low sodium, fat free turkey breast is one of my faves - but there are lots -
i just take out one little packet a day - defrost and voila - lunch with a side salad using low carb wraps - delicious but most of all SATISFYING.
i shop the sale items - and i plan week day evening meals - but i take it a little easier on sat and sunday - just to ease up on things a bit and have something of a 'treat' to bring up my spirits.
also - just a suggestion - make sure all the things you use often are handy for you. i have my blender on the counter always at the ready - where as my juicer which i use in the spring and summer mostly - is tucked away for now. you will make yourself more smoothies, or blend fruits etc to use if all you have to do is press the button
anyway - i like this and it is freeing me up to think about other stuff - my scale has not gone down since the two pounds i lost - but i hope by the end of january i will have lost one more pound.
exercise is my real hill to climb (lol you know what i mean) BB

    I do a lot of my weekly food prep on Sundays and I agree with you that it feels great knowing it is waiting for you. Keep up the great work.

    you know have the planning part wonderful to not have to think about what you are going to eat and hunt for things that mostly don't fill the bill and are really haphazerd choices you are surely gonna do it!!!
    my birthday is thursday and i am having a broewnie topped with real ice cream and chocolate syrup but the i only do that for birthday and it comes but once a year..i had two last year and yes on the same day becuse it was the year for 65 lol
    keep on with your actions they are the ones that will make you successful even after thw weight loss is will be eating properly and have no desire, except for special occasions, to have anything more than you plan..i notice that particularly with myself i quit fast food and in the beginning it was hard mostly because with working long overtime hours i did fast food..i didn't want to fool with dishes and was eat sleep and work
    no fast food now and i am so thrilled to be able to go out and not even think about it any's amazing for sure!!!
