My approach to going on a diet as always been all or nothing. Meaning, wanting to go raw but going extremely exclusively raw, then one day eating cooked food and blowing the whole thing off. Comes next monday, try again, this time juicing, after 5 days, meeting a friend at a restaurant, eating cooked food, blowing the whole thing off. Comes next monday, going back on raw, sticking with it for 4 days, family reunion, eating cooked food, blowing the whole thing off. Comes the next monday, going raw again, but being so afraid of eating something wrong, not couting my calories and ending up eating less then 1200 calories a day, starving, eating, blowing the whole thing off. Keep doing the same things over and over you will always get the same results...

Same thing for the exercise routine. 2 hours of intense exercise a day, 5 days a week. Yes I did lose inches and weight but I ended up injuring myself.

This week, I have decided that I will only focus on the calories amount. That will be my first step. Yesterday was fantastic. I ate fruit, cabbage soup ( it was soooo cold I needed to get warm) , crackers with cheese and a nice salad. And to my biggest surprise, I am here this morning with a day of being under 1800 calories, not feeling like a failure and ready to start this new day on my journey to a better health and a lighter body.

I am ready for this journey. I will do it this way. With 30 minutes exercise/5 times a week. See where that gets me.

It may sound soooo simple for many people but for me it is an awekening. Moderation in every thing.
