Loving Myself Challenge: Day 4 :)

Happy Martin Luther King Day AND Inauguration day!

Because I knew I had to write my 5 things down in public... I got up and made some things happen today :)

1. I got 9 hours of sleep! :-)
2. I tracked all of my food and stayed within my plan!!
3. I took the time to go out and do some yard work... and it was AN AMAZING workout! I burned 400+ calories in about 50 minutes. But I was so tired and my lungs are still healing so, I stopped after the front yard. (CREDIT for getting out there and getting it done!)
5. I made a HEALTHY dinner, ate plenty of veggies, Made a fruit smoothie, resisted the temptation to make brownies (when a random craving hit), and PACKED MY LUNCH FOR TOMORROW.

I'm on a roll. And really, it only takes a few minutes to jot down the 5 things we are proud of. I'm glad to see some people have decided to join in!! If you are hesistant because you think it'll take too long... trust me it won't take longer than 5 mins! And... you don't even have to post it.

*** 4 days into the challenge and I find myself looking for things that I'm doing RIGHT. We all know how easy it is to find the things we do wrong, I figure there is no need to stay focused on my mistakes any longer.

    you are going strong on this and congratulations to you and Mandelovich!

    I went to the store and bought groceries and saw all the valentine candy out particularly the chocolates. Instead of picking one up(or several) I went and picked up the organic carrots and munched on them. Boy was I proud of myself!!!!!!

    I took my dog on a 4 mile walk, came back and did the stairsteppers for 60 minutes! Tomorrow I weigh in and I really am hoping to get another good reading!!!!

    I cooked salmon and made butternut squash and this is the 14th day that I have filled in my meals and fitness daily!!!

    I read my bible and last but not least.......all women will understand this especially when you are of a certain age......

    I was whistled at on my walk with my dog emoticon

    It sure helps a lot in this adventure!

    Great job today!!

    OK, here are my five things...

    1. I went back to sleep so that I could get close to 8 hours.
    2. I did yoga.
    3. I went for a 6 mile run, even though it was freezing outside and I had trouble motivating before.
    4. I cooked lots of healthy food.
    5. I came up with my new plan of allowing one meal/week (1 out of 21) to be an indulgence so that I'm no longer tempted to binge!
