Dinner out tonight ugh

Normally I would be supper excited to be going to Lonestar Steak house, but I am a little nervous about tonight's outing, so much so all I have had to day is a small banana and a non fat yogurt. I feel great though as a matter fact have taken down a whole drop celiling in my dinning room and prepped the room for paint

I have been studying the menu and feel a little better but I know the temptations for the ribeye are going to be there. I know if I get any other steak I will be disappointed so I am going to opt for the grilled shrimp and a salad and I am taking my own dressing.

This is my first big challenge since changing my eating habits and I do not want to fail....

    I did and even though it was a little higher in calories then I thought, I did manage to stay a little under my limits for the day. Had the Flat iron steak, a plain potato and a small salad and took my own dressing. I did have a very small bit of bread with a tab of butter. I am proud of myself tonight and feel good that I passed the challenge...Bring on the next one emoticon

    Going out can be hard but good for you for checking out the menu in advance and going in with a plan.
