Struggling to stay motivated in this cold, slippery weather, recovering from this ankle fracture. Have wanted to just sit by the fire this weekend. I need to get moving again!! emoticon

Definitely, try some chair exercises. I was laid up after an extensive foot surgery, so I understand how you are feeling. On top of that, it was only 7 months after getting a new knee on the other leg. There are some good videos out there, and the Chair Exercise team has some good resources also. Good luck to you with your healing! Healing still has to come first......

I agree with the other posters -- you need to heal first....if you can get a peddler (the pedals that sit on the floor (or a table) and you sit on a chair and pedal it. It works great, keeps you moving and is fairly safe -- at least so no falls occur!!! But rest and ice that ankle as you can....and elevate if needed! Good luck

You can try some chair exercises, which you can find on Spark to help you feel active while you heal. I have read stats that losing weight is at least 85% nutrition and 15% exercise; so focusing on nutrition should get you most of the results you hope to achieve while you are recuperating.
I have a 5+" snow storm predicted for tomorrow; so I am going to make sure I get in a long walk today. I am so afraid of slipping and falling.

Oh dear! So sorry. Maybe pick up later after healing.
