At the Middle of the First Part of my Journey!

I reached a point in my journey that I did not believe I would reach. I have lost half of the weight the program will allow me to set for the first year, 62 1/2 pounds. I am thrilled but incredibly cautious because I don't want to set myself up to fail.

I need to think about whether I should be resetting my goal target date with the new weight goal or just leaving my present goals in place and working on finishing that one. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Keep on Pressing on with your Original Goal... THEN, once you are there, you can evaluate and move to your next goal! You are doing GREAT! So Sorry for your loss and the struggles but it's a new day and you are on your WAY!

    You commented on my blog about preferring to eat out and manage your choices. If people have you over for dinner, you can always let them know ahead of time to not go crazy...simple meal is fine because you're trying to be healthier and it's about the friendship/company anyway. Sometimes just a sentence or two, moves them toward making healthier foods too! My mother in law is having us over for dinner tuesday and suggested she make roast, tacos or bbq chicken. I quickly suggested NOT tacos... as we just had mexican and always seem to over eat on them. Hopefully that comment will also have her thinking about healthier side dishes too. We can do this!!
