I am drawing near the end of Week 3 of the SHRED diet- Transformation. This week is the hardest so far, mainly because it consist of a lot of smoothies or soup meals. For those who don't know I have always said I would NEVER drink my meals- well I did it
There were times when I was hungry so I did grab an extra piece of fruit or something. This week I averaged about 1250-1380 calories. OK I did eat a 1/2 piece of fried fish that I made for dinner for the boys but hey nobody is perfect
. I still track my calories because I need to make sure that this diet is healthy. Just because something is popular does not mean it is healthy for you. So far it has been good on the nutrition side.
Week 4 starts Monday which retroduces solid foods and varies up the food choices a bit. I get to eat pizza!
I must admit I am worried about Monday since I will be at an event out of the office starting at 7 am! They are serving lunch and so I should be ok since it will be a box lunch with a sandwich. I will just make sure to give away any goodies inside like chips or cookie. I have done this before so it is not a big deal. Plus I plan on taking some extra snacks with me. I might not eat exactly on the plan but I should be ok calories wise.
I am hoping to see a REAL transformation this week and FINALLY get out of the 180's!
My weigh in day is Monday so I will see what happens then.
Getting an early start because its cold- making my food list for the week and then heading out the door. I think instead of doing a workout DVD, I will do some heavy housework which always makes me sweat plus I can motivate myself to get it done
